By the time I got to the Izzet, a lot of their look had already been established. The art director already knew that he wanted them to feature more than just old men, so this wasn't really my idea as much as it was me bringing an obvious idea to life. As someone who usually doesn't go to "put a babe one it" as the solution to most problems, I immediately gravitated towards adding a babe to Izzet's roster.
